Is the Ending of The Promised Neverland Terrible?

“The Promised Neverland” was originally adapted from a manga written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuke Demizu. The fans were disappointed at the finale season because the production team changed the main storyline to make it more creative. But it receives a lot of hate from the viewers. The anime fans felt like the finale season was too rushed, and the important plots were shortened compared to the Manga. These changes modified the character’s motivation and relationships, which also disappointed the fans who were hoping for a better adaptation.

The first season was pretty similar to the Manga. Three arcs were completely skipped, and none of them were fillers. I think the reason why they did this is because it is a shonen, which means it’s made for younger audiences as it is particularly dark and violent. They didn’t add much detail to it; instead, they added some changes, which brought some negative comments from the viewers.

The ending of The Promised Neverland terrible Discussion

The art style in Manga was way better than that of anime. This new animation completely changed their faces and made them look weird, which triggered the manga readers. I’m even pretty mad at the animators for taking out the most important characters and adding changes to some of the scenes. I felt that compared to the first season, the animation quality dropped quite a bit.

Some fans liked how the story and characters progressed further, while others were left a bit disappointed because it didn’t quite match up to their expectations set by the first season.
In my opinion, I didn’t quite like the ending that much. If you don’t want to watch this anime, then you can go and read the Manga anytime. There’s more to it, with additional details included. It won’t disappoint you for sure.
I gave my honest opinion on the final season. Now, the choice is yours. Everyone’s opinions can vary, so there are also people who still find things to enjoy despite the criticisms.
