Episode 3 of No Longer Allowed in Another World takes an interesting turn. I thought this series would stick to being a lighthearted isekai comedy, but this episode introduced some darker elements.
The episode continues the journey of Annette and Tama as they transport Sensei’s coffin to their next destination. This episode also shows a clearer picture of the isekai setting. The world is divided into four cathedrals, with adventurers summoned from different worlds. The ultimate goal for these adventurers is to defeat the Dark Lord, a looming threat. However, the episode quickly subverts the typical isekai hero trope.
Sensei, Annette, and Tama face a formidable challenge in the form of Waldelia, the Wrathful Dark Lord. even though Sensei doesn’t have any ability, he demonstrates unexpected courage by shielding Annette and Tama from Waldelia’s attack. As we know he doesn’t fear death. The episode also shows glimpses into Waldelia’s backstory, hinting at a tragic past connected to the Dark Lord. Sensei’s conversation with Waldelia reveals his ability to connect with people, even in the face of danger.
We also get a scene where A mysterious figure lurking around in the dark creepy castle. And it was clear, they’re dangerous and obvious they’re going to be trouble. This whole bit makes it feel like there’s a bigger game being played here. It’s not just about our main characters anymore – there are other powerful people also. While we’re really starting to see more sides of Sensei.
Review
The show also makes us question everything we thought we knew about this fantasy world. At first, it seemed like typical isekai things. But now this show showing out its way more complicated things. The people who are supposed to be heroes might actually be the bad person. It was so unexpected.
I’m pretty impressed with this episode. It’s not just about getting a few laughs anymore. We get to know about otherworlders and Waldelia a new character. I think this show will not disappoint you. you can start to watch this. Because the MC is really different than other protagonists.
