This episode starts with the prince contemplating why the king gave Noor the Black Blade. After all, Noor is a stranger to them. The Black Blade is made from never-before-seen materials, harder than mithril, orichalcum, and even manametal. No skill or technique could scratch it, so it became known as the Unbreakable Blade. The value of this goes beyond being a weapon.
Then we see Noor and Lynne start to work together. They get a low-ranked job, which is goblin hunting. They go on their first adventure together. They’re supposed to fight goblins in the forest and bring the goblins’ right ears as proof. But Noor and Lynne can’t find any goblins.
They try so hard to find any goblin, then they see something eating a goblin. Lynne uncovers it, and they see a huge goblin standing there, called the Goblin Emperor. That goblin is so powerful, but Noor thinks it’s just a normal goblin. Noor is still clueless.
Noor and Lynne beat the big goblin and then burn it. The prince is shocked when he hears how these two beat a Goblin Emperor. When Noor and Lynne go to the guild master for money, the guild master wants to see the goblin’s right ear as proof. But they burned the whole goblin and forgot to bring the right ear.
The episode keeps playing with the funny misunderstandings about Noor’s abilities. Lynne is amazed by how good he is.
Review
Episode 4 stays funny like the other episodes, but now we see how Noor and Lynne work together. But the story is pretty simple, mostly relying on the joke of Noor being overpowered.
The show’s formula is working well for now, but it might get boring if they keep doing the same thing. Adding new adventures and challenges could make the show more interesting.
