Recap
In the previous episode, we saw a boy who can control monsters. In this episode, we learn more about his backstory. His name is Rolo, and he was born with the power to control monsters. There are also many others like him. They were treated badly because of this power, and everyone called them “cursed children.”
For a long time, some people only used their power to control livestock. But then someone started using it on monsters to start a war and kill many people. They have been hated ever since. Being beaten was an everyday occurrence for him. When he dared to ask a single question, they beat him beyond recognition. After that, they gave him only water and no food for three days. Because of his curse, he can hear people’s thoughts. Despite all the terrible things he endured, he never thought of getting revenge. It didn’t even cross his mind. It was painful for him to be hated, scorned, and beaten, but he never imagined doing the same to them.

A man offers Rolo a chance to change his situation. If Rolo agrees to transport a monster to a city, he will ensure better treatment for Rolo and his fellow demonfolk. However, if Rolo refuses, conditions will worsen. The man’s intentions are obscured by a magical tool that prevents Rolo from reading his mind.
Rolo accepts the task and heads to the city with the monster. However, when the monster starts to break free from his control, it attacks him. Noor absorbed all the poison gas from the monster and saved Rolo. Noor can manage poison.
When he was little, he accidentally tossed a poisonous leaf into the food he was gathering for dinner. He got sick from it, but he tried to survive by using low-level healing. Eventually, he built up a resistance to poison. Now, he can eat any poisonous food without being affected and even finds it delicious. Though he couldn’t detoxify himself quickly enough before and ended up coughing blood, his experience has made him more resilient. His low-level healing worked in time and saved Rolo. Then Noor defeated the monster.

Afterward, Noor asked Rolo if he was alone. Rolo told Noor that he had brought the monster with him and had promised someone to take it to the city. Knowing how clueless Noor is, he thought the monster was an ingredient. He believed Rolo had been raising it with great care and was now transporting it alive to the city for a massive amount of fresh meat. Noor began to worry that he had destroyed valuable merchandise meant for the toros. Noor asked Rolo how he managed to bring such a ferocious creature all the way here. Rolo explained that he could control monsters, which Noor found impressive. Rolo also revealed that he is a demonfolk. Noor assumed that demonfolk is a clan and that such power is normal among their people.

Noor told Rolo that he had always wished for a power like that. Rolo then asked Noor if he wasn’t afraid of him and the demonfolk, as his power had scared many people. But Noor said it was an amazing and useful ability. Rolo became emotional after hearing that. He asked Noor if he could be useful to people, and Noor assured him that he could be as useful as he wanted to be.
This version maintains the original meaning while improving readability and grammatical accuracy.
When Noor proposes taking Rolo to the nearest city, Lynne and Ines, who join the discussion, express concern about the potential danger of harboring a demonfolk. Ines highlights the risks involved and the possibility of the theocracy attacking them if they take Rolo along.
Review
This episode doesn’t have that much action as I expected. But this episode is not bad also. In this episode we get to know about demonfolk’s and Noor ability to take any kind of poison. Overall this episode wasn’t that much good but not that bad also.
