I Parry Everything Episode 7 Recap and Review

At the end of the previous episode, a mysterious man appeared. In this episode, we discover that this mysterious man is here to take Rolo in exchange for money. He begins to attack Rolo, but Noor saves him. Noor and the mysterious man engage in a fight. Ines protects Lynne, and it is revealed that this mysterious man is none other than Deadman Zadu, the former S-rank adventurer who was believed to be dead.

Zadu became an S-rank adventurer at a young age and quickly became a target for other S-rank adventurers. As a kid, he mastered the ancient art of Dwarven Alchemy and at the age of 13 he earned the name ‘’Dragon Slayer.’’ His abilities continued to be recognized, and his reputation spread to foreign lands, eventually reaching the apex of adventurers. But, Zadu didn’t always use his vast talents and techniques for the right purposes. He murdered 36 members of a merchant family in Sarenza. Some of the guild associations even suggested that he should be stripped of his adventurer’s license. However, the contributions he made to the guild were significant. He also took down a disaster-level threat of a monster on his own.

I Parry Everything Episode 7 Zadu Story

Ultimately, because opinions on how to deal with Zadu were divided, the matter was put on hold. Zadu accepts every commission without discrimination as long as it pays. To him, morals, social etiquette, and the history of a nation are all meaningless. A prime example of this is when he wiped out an entire country, fulfilling his own country’s request by destroying an enemy army and murdering the entire royal family. It was as if he had crushed a goblin den. Many people noticed that Zadu had no concept of good or evil. Numerous adventurers challenged him to claim the vast bounty on his head, but they only ended up as corpses, causing the reward amount to increase further. To prevent more casualties, the guild publicly announced that Zadu had been successfully killed, earning him the name Deadman Zadu.

While fighting Noor, all of Zadu’s knives break. He then switches to another weapon, a sword that splits into numerous others. In the blink of an eye, it can take several hundred lives. This deadly weapon, which Zadu transmuted himself, is known as the Silver Cross. Noor, determined to protect Rolo, takes on all the attacks but struggles against the sheer number of weapons. Ines was watching them, she realizes the danger and decides to help Noor. She creates shields for them, protecting them from Zadu’s attacks.

I Parry Everything Episode 7 Zadu and Ines

While Ines defends them, Noor retrieves the fangs of the Black Death Dragon he defeated earlier. Ines removes the shield in front of Noor, allowing him to throw the dragon’s fangs and nails at the Silver Crosses, breaking them. He continues to destroy more Silver Crosses. Realizing he can’t take Rolo because of Noor, Zadu finally leaves. Before departing, Zadu tells them about an extravagant celebration in the royal capital. Lynne, curious about what’s happening, decides to return to the city, which isn’t far away.

Upon hearing them talk about the royal capital, Rolo becomes scared and warns them that the biggest threat is heading there, strong enough to wipe out the entire city.

Lynne wants to return quickly, sensing the urgency of the situation. However, Ines disagrees because Rein told her that if anything happened in the capital, she should escape with Lynne to Mithra. But Lynne refuses to run away; she wants to head there immediately. She insists that they must warn the capital of the impending danger. She also mentions the demonfolk, who have lost their homeland, and says that if they try to escape now, they might suffer the same fate. Ines finally agrees with her, and they all head back to the city, Rolo also goes with them.

Meanwhile, in the city, a man reports to Rein that all citizens in the old city district have been evacuated. He says that the efforts of the Sovereign Six have paid off and that they believe they have fended off the enemy’s ambush. However, Rein warns that another wave might still be coming. The man tells him that the secret corps are conducting a desperate search for the enemy but have found no sign of them. Rein notes that the problem is they can’t predict what the next wave will be. As he’s pondering this, he looks up at the sky and sees something. When he uncovers it, he realizes it’s a dragon, the Dragon of Calamity!

This episode was impressive. The fight between Zadu and Noor was incredible, and it seems like the next episode will be just as good. If you’re thinking of skipping this episode, I wouldn’t recommend it. The action and little funny moments will keep you watching until the end.
