At first, I don’t like Zenitsu, Always whining and crying. But then, when he goes into that sleep mode, It’s like watching a completely different character. His Thunder Breathing technique is insane. I remember this one episode – I think it was during the Natagumo Mountain arc – where he just zips through a whole bunch of demon spiders. You could barely see him move! That Thunderclap and Flash move of his is something else.
But the thing about Zenitsu that is special is his hearing. It’s so good. There are these moments in the show where he picks up on stuff way before anyone else does. Like, he can hear a demon’s muscle twitching.
I have a soft spot for him, the way he never gives up, always trying to understand the demons even as he’s fighting them – it’s pretty inspiring. And his fighting style is versatile. First, he started using Water Breathing, but then he started developing the Sun Breathing technique too. It’s like watching him evolve in real time. And he uses his sense of smell in fights Genius way.
Tanjiro VS Zenitsu
If Tanjiro and Zenitsu went head-to-head I think Zenitsu probably win. Zenitsu’s speed is no joke. And when he’s unconscious and fighting, It’s like all his potential gets unleashed at once. No fear, no hesitation, just pure skill.
But Tanjiro has a tactical mind, He’s always analyzing, always trying to find a weak spot. And his determination is something else. There are moments in the show where you think he’s done for, but he just keeps pushing.
The more I think about it, the harder it is to choose. They both have these moments where they just blow you away with how strong they are. That fight against Enmu on the train, Both of them had their moments to shine.
Conclusion
In the end, I think what makes the show so great is how they complement each other. Zenitsu have raw power and speed, while Tanjiro use strategy and endurance. When they team up, it’s like they cover all the bases.
But if it tanjiro vs Zenitsu, I will lean slightly towards Zenitsu in terms of raw power. That unconscious state of his is just too OP. But Tanjiro’s growth throughout the series is incredible too. It’s like every time you think you’ve got a handle on how strong he is, he surprises you again.
