Oshi No Ko Season 2: Episode 3 Recap and Review

I have got to say this episode was different from the first two. It has sweet and heartwarming scenes that made me smile a little. In this episode, we got to see some of the characters’ true selves, character’s which was definitely beautiful to watch.

The Episode started with Ruby throwing tantrums for more gigs so that she could brag about it, which is actually so cute. After that, Aqua and Akane went on a date as promised. For their date, they went to a theatre to watch a theatre play. At first, Aqua didn’t have many expectations from the play as it was a theatre play. But that stage performance surely exceeded Aqua’s expectations. Everything seemed so real and entertaining for him, and he couldn’t deny that he didn’t like it, which made Akane happy, of course.

Later on, they found out that for this play, the scriptwriter was also Mr. Goa, who got rejected by Miss Abiko for the stage play script writing. So they doubted Abiko’s work, and they asked Mr. Raida if he could convince her to change her mind, but he denied it. Then Aqua, Akane, and Arima, along with some of the characters, go to Miss Yoriko’s place, thinking that only a fellow creator would be able to convince Abiko. But she didn’t agree, as Abiko thought of her as a mentor, and Yoriko believed in her work.

But when they went home, Yoriko received a text from Abiko asking her to visit her place. Then Yoriko went to her place and saw her working on her projects, and as she didn’t get much sleep, Yoriko decided to help her. Then they had a small little argument on who’s the better manga artist; though the argument wasn’t so serious, we got to see a completely different version of Abiko. It was more like she fell down from ego to reality, which showed her real personality. At the end of the episode, Aqua hands over a ticket for that theatre play to Yoriko to give it Abiko to get some ideas from it.

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 3 Recap

Today’s episode is quite different as we get to something different, but it didn’t have something special or suspense in it. But overall, I really like how they tried to do something different. Also, the cute scenes we got to see in this episode are absolutely adorable. Akane-san’s smirking gotta be the cutest, haha. As well as Ruby’s reactions. Abiko is too arrogant to cope with her work, but in this episode, she is shown as a victim. I really feel bad for Mr. Goa, though; he didn’t deserve to hear those harsh words from Abiko. As he’s already very professional and good at his work, it’d be really insulting for him to bear such a situation. Can’t wait for the next episode!
