Spy × Family: Code White movie based on the popular anime series. It follows the Forger family – Loid (a spy), Yor (an assassin), and their adopted daughter Anya (a mind-reader). None of them know each other’s secrets.
The movie has a good mix of action, comedy, and family moments. This movie shows the family growing closer. The characters are likable and often make you laugh. Anya is especially funny and cute with her mind-reading ability and she also has a dog, named Bond, who has the power to see glimpses into the future. This is a film just meant to be a good time, not something deep story.
There were a couple of beautiful moments as well that made it really wholesome. I was tearing up once. While it’s not emotional it’s something else.
The animation was great. The voice acting is also very good. The story moves at a good pace, switching between exciting parts and quieter moments. This movie has lots of sweet moments, Loid and Yor’s little romance, Anya’s childish moments, And their sweet family moments.
Fans of the show might enjoy this movie much more than newcomers. New viewers won’t feel lost, as the movie explains enough about the characters and their world. You get to see Loid use his spy skills, Yor show her strength, and Anya try to help in her own way.
