Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 2 Recap and Review

The story starts with how Will was criticized five years earlier by the students from his academy.

People would say he was bait to lure his childhood friend Elfaria to the school, and there’s no need for him as Elfaria has already become the Magia Vander. Later on, Edward goes to the headmistress to get Will expelled, as he’s a warrior and not a mage. The headmistress told Edward to test him, and if he fails, she’ll get him expelled from this academy. Edward took Will with him and told him if he could land a single strike on him, he’d succeed in the test with 5 spellwork credits. But unfortunately, Will didn’t have his sword with him, and Edward was too strong for him to catch up with him. His cat, Kiki, being injured, went to his friend Coletta. Then Coletta came with a sword and threw it at him. The tables have turned, and he won with his five spellwork of credits.

Wistoria Wand and Sword second episode review

This episode was mindblowing. I didn’t expect some of the scenes that they showed. And as usual, the work on the fight scenes was amazing. I’m expecting a lot from this anime. I hope they don’t break my expectations. I picked this anime randomly, but now I’m obsessed with it. I love how, even without magic, he’s still so strong. Hopefully, he will be able to reach the top of the wizard’s tower. The anime already has a lot of potential. But as I said before, many may find it an inspiring story, so I can’t guarantee that you’ll like it. It is similar to Black Clover, but not exactly; the story is different in its own way. And to be honest, I prefer this animation over the Black Clover animation. Now, don’t come at me for this; it’s just an opinion.

However, I found most of the characters quite interesting and would like to know more about them, such as Edward, Elfaria, Coletta, and many more. It just gets better with every episode I watch. But I really do hope to see the main character’s development. I don’t like him getting underestimated for not having magic or extraordinary power like the rest. And I would also like to know more about his past story.

If I had to judge this anime by just watching two of the episodes. I’d surely suggest you to watch it and have the total fun of it. And especially for those who have recently gotten into anime, it’s a total blast. I cannot wait for the next episode. If you haven’t watched the second episode yet, go watch it.
